Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
Two-lot procurement by a university for furniture and IT equipment totaling approximately PKR 29.77 million. The IT equipment lot (PKR 24.39 million) represents the larger component. This is a one-off institutional purchase with a tight bid submission window (approximately two weeks from publication). Bidders must be registered with tax authorities and on FBR's Active Taxpayers List. Electronic submission through the provincial e-procurement portal is mandatory, with dual security submission requirements (electronic and physical). The university is in a Murree hill station location; supplier logistics and delivery timelines may be relevant considerations.
Who can bid: Bidders must be reputable firms, manufacturers, suppliers, authorized dealers, distributors, or registered contractors. Registration with relevant tax authorities and placement on FBR's Active Taxpayers List is required. Typically, suppliers and manufacturers must have valid NTN and be in good standing with tax authorities. PEC registration is not mentioned, indicating this is procurement of goods rather than construction services.
