Description / Scope of Work
The Executive Engineer Communication & Works Division Malakand, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites electronic bids from eligible firms and contractors for emergent nature road and bridge repair works during the financial year 2026-27 under the KPPRA procurement rules 2014 as amended up to 10-05-2022. Two work packages are advertised: emergent nature work in Tehsil Batkhela and Thana Baizai with relevant codes, and emergent nature work in Tehsil Dargai with relevant codes. Each work package has an estimated cost of 4.600 million, with a tender fee of 1380 and bid security requirement of 96000. The works are to be executed as per work order with completion period specified accordingly.
Bidders must be eligible firms or contractors registered with relevant authorities in accordance with KPPRA rules. Contractors quoting rates electronically must upload complete Bills of Quantity with quoted rates prior to closing date and time. Bid security is to be submitted at 0.02 percent of Engineer Estimate for bids up to 10 percent below estimate; 8 percent additional security is required for bids between 10 and 20 percent below estimate. Contractors quoting more than 20 percent below Engineer Estimate must submit additional security equal to the differential amount along with detail rate analysis, otherwise the bid is declared non-responsive. Detail bid security in the form of CDR including bank name, CDR numbers and dates must be submitted electronically on E-PADS system with BOQ and Detail Rate Analysis where applicable.
Bid solicitation documents and instructions can be obtained from the office of the undersigned on any working day or downloaded from the C&W website at www.cwd.gkp.pk before the submission date. Tender fee at 0.03 percent must be submitted separately as Call Deposit from a scheduled bank. The last date and time for submission of electronic bids is 03-08-2026 at 12:00 PM, with bids to be opened 30 minutes thereafter in the presence of bidders or their representatives at the office of the Executive Engineer C&W Division Malakand.
