Description / Scope of Work
NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi, Sindh, invites sealed bids for the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a 300kW solar power system at the Chemical and Petroleum Engineering Department, Main Campus. The estimated project cost is Rs 33 million with a completion timeline of three months. This is a comprehensive solar energy solution procurement under single-stage one-envelope bidding procedure through the Electronic Procurement Advertising and Dossier System (EPADS), reference DP/32392/8568/49 dated 15 July 2026.
Bidders must hold valid Pakistan Engineering Council registration in category C-4 or above with specialized codes including EE04, EE03, CE10, ME06, ME-07(v), EE11(xxv), EE11(vi) for Solar Installation, ME05 and EE11(vv). Registration with SECP, GST, and SRB is mandatory, along with a valid Electrical Inspector license from the Government of Sindh for electrical works. Firms must demonstrate average annual turnover of at least Rs 100 million over the preceding three years and provide evidence of at least two similar projects completed within the last three years each valued at Rs 50 million or more. Bid security of 2 percent in the form of a pay order favouring the Director Finance, NEDUET, is required.
