For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
HMC has issued three separate tenders for routine industrial supplies: welding cable, conveyor belts, and ferro silicon powder. The quantities are moderate (500m cable, ~480m belts, 6 tonnes powder), suggesting supply contracts rather than capital projects. The 2% bid security requirement and GST treatment instructions indicate standard commercial procurement discipline. Ferro silicon requires original MTC; conveyor belts require physical samples. All three tenders close simultaneously, suggesting HMC may consolidate awards. Lead times are unspecified, creating scheduling uncertainty for suppliers.
Who can bid: Bidders typically require business registration (SECP or NTN), valid sales tax registration, and for ferro silicon supply, capacity to provide original Mill Test Certificates. No specific PEC or sector license mentioned; commercial trading registration is the baseline requirement. Bid security is compulsory for quotations above Rs. 500,000.
