Description / Scope of Work
The Ministry of Economic Affairs, Government of Pakistan, invites pre-qualification bids from workshop firms and vendors registered with the Sales Tax and Income Tax departments for repair, maintenance and services during the financial year 2026-27. The scope encompasses six categories: repair and maintenance of official vehicles including Suzuki, Toyota, Honda and motorcycles; repair and maintenance of hardware items such as computers and printers; repair and maintenance of IT equipment including laptops and IT servers; repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment including photocopiers, fax machines, air conditioners, electric geysers and water dispensers; repair and maintenance of furniture and fixtures; and arrangements for working and buffet lunch, dinner and hi-tea along with hotel room arrangements for foreign delegations at five-star hotels in Islamabad, preferably in the red zone area, plus related arrangements for multilateral and bilateral meetings and joint ministerial commissions. Eligible firms must be registered on the Active Taxpayer List of the Federal Board of Revenue, hold General Sales Tax registration and National Tax numbers, possess a complete setup in Islamabad or Rawalpindi, and demonstrate at least five years of experience with Federal Government Departments. Bid security amounts range from Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 781,700 depending on the service category. Pre-qualification documents are available free of cost from the Section Officer at the Ministry or online at www.ead.gov.pk. Bids must be submitted by 11:00 AM on 5th August 2026 and will be opened at 11:30 AM the same day in Committee Room 3rd Floor, C-Block, Pakistan Secretariat, Islamabad.
