This is a single-unit diesel generator procurement for a government-linked insurance corporation office in Punjab. The 100 KVA capacity and Rs 8 million budget suggest a medium-scale commercial installation. Key barriers to entry include mandatory PEC registration, three-year track record requirement, and Rs 20 million minimum financial standing, which limits competition to established dealers. The UK-origin preference and exclusion of Chinese equipment narrows supplier options. The one-year warranty and tight installation timeline favour experienced integrators with proven commissioning capability.
Who can bid: Bidders must hold valid PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council) registration, be registered with FBR (Sales Tax and Income Tax), have minimum three years relevant experience, demonstrate Rs 20 million financial worth via bank statements, provide affidavit of non-blacklisting, and submit OEM/dealership certificate. Chinese origin vendors are explicitly ineligible.
