Description / Scope of Work
The Municipal Committee, Vehari invites sealed tenders for the arrangement and execution of work related to the celebration of Independence Day (14 August) 2026 in Vehari, Punjab. The estimated project cost is Rs. 38,70,000/- and falls under the financial year 2026-27. This procurement covers all arrangements necessary for a comprehensive Independence Day celebration event in the city, including but not limited to decorations, stage setup, sound systems, seating arrangements, and ancillary services required for a public celebration of national significance.
Eligible bidders must possess valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category and must be registered on the Punjab PPRA website (https://ep.punjab.gov.pk) as per Government of Punjab directions for financial year 2026-27. Bid security in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) equal to 5% of the estimated cost must be submitted in favor of the Chief Officer, MC Vehari. The original CDR must be physically submitted to the Head Clerk (Infrastructure) at the Municipal Committee office half an hour before the opening of bids. All bids must include complete financial proposals with filled DNIT/BOQs and rates analysis, failing which bids will be declared non-responsive.
Bidders must submit their proposals through E-PADS up to 11:00 AM on 04-08-2026. Bid opening will take place on the same day at 11:30 AM at the Municipal Committee, Vehari office in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee. Current PPRA Rules will be strictly enforced, and submission of fake documents or information will result in disqualification.
