For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
HIT seeks spares suppliers for gunner sight repair/rebuild—defence-rated procurement implying technical complexity and compliance sensitivity.
Scale appears medium (12-month delivery window suggests material volume but not mega-project scope). Critical: bidders need prior HIT/DGP/MoDP pre-qualification letters—this is a gated tender excluding cold bidders. Manufacturers, authorized dealers, and distributors eligible. One-off procurement tied to HIT's maintenance cycle, not recurring. Notable friction: Rs 2,000 processing fee non-refundable; strict three-year track record proof required.
Who can bid: Manufacturers, authorized dealers, distributors, and suppliers meeting SBD criteria. Must hold valid NTN and Sales Tax Registration (where applicable). Mandatory: pre-qualification or indexation letters from HIT, DGP, MoDP, or government bodies. Typically, PEC registration not mentioned (defence context may differ). No PEC category stated. SECP registration inferred for company entities.
