Heavy Industries Taxila seeks spare parts suppliers for FCS/GCS assembly repair—military fire/gun control system components.
Scale appears medium to large given defence procurement context and 12-month delivery window. Notably, this is a specialized defence supply chain opportunity requiring prior government contract experience and formal blacklist clearance certification. The FOR basis and specific technical nomenclature suggest established vendors are preferred; new entrants without defence contracts face disadvantage. Tight deadline (August 2026) and mandatory postal order signal serious bidders only.
Who can bid: Bidders must hold valid NTN and Sales Tax Registration. Prior execution of government/semi-government contracts within 3 years is required. Blacklist certification, audited financials (3 years), and bank statements mandatory. HIT pre-qualification or indexation letters advantageous but not stated as mandatory. Typically, defence procurement also requires PEC registration if construction-related; unclear here but advisable to confirm with SCM Directorate.
