Description / Scope of Work
Dr. Faisal Masood Teaching Hospital Sargodha invites online bids from eligible retail pharmacies for a framework contract to supply medicines, drugs, and surgical or disposable items (medical devices) on a day-to-day local purchase basis for the financial year 2026–27. The estimated contract value is PKR 4.8 million, and the procurement is funded from Zakat and Pakistan Bait-ul-Maal Fund. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding (single stage, two envelopes) under the Punjab Procurement Rules (PPRA) 2014 as amended. Only pharmacies holding a valid Drug Sale License on Form 9 and located within 2 kilometres of the hospital's boundary wall in Sargodha are eligible to participate.
Eligible bidders must be registered on the Punjab E-Procurement System Portal and must submit bid security of 2 per cent of the estimated cost in the form of a CDR from a scheduled bank. Bidders are required to provide proof of active tax registration (NTN and STRN) and evidence of being active taxpayers; taxes will be deducted according to applicable government rules. The bidding is restricted to local retail pharmacies meeting the geographic and licensing criteria specified.
Bidding documents may be downloaded from the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority website and the Punjab E-Procurement System Portal. Online bids (financial proposal and technical proposal) must be submitted through the portal by 11:00 AM on 5 August 2026; physical bid security documents must be submitted to the office of the Secretary, Health Welfare Committee. Bids will be opened online on the same date at 11:30 AM in the presence of bidders' representatives.
