Description / Scope of Work
Tehsil Head Quarters Hospital Chak Jhumra, located in Faisalabad district, Punjab, invites online bids through the Punjab e-Procurement System for a framework contract covering the financial year 2026-27. The procurement encompasses three separate lots: local purchase of medicines, surgical and disposable items with an estimated cost of 30 million Pakistani rupees; procurement of dialysis medicine, surgical and consumable items valued at 15 million rupees; and miscellaneous items estimated at 1.5 million rupees. The total procurement scope addresses day-to-day, emergency and bulk supply requirements for the hospital's operational needs throughout the fiscal year.
Eligibility is restricted to Income Tax filers, GST and PST registered entities, including sole proprietorships, partnerships, firms and companies. Bidders must hold active NTN and sales tax registration certificates as per government regulations. A bid security equivalent to two percent of the estimated cost must accompany each submission, valid for 180 days. The bidding process follows Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 as amended, utilizing a single-stage two-envelope open competitive procedure under the e-Procurement framework. Operational guidelines for local purchase of medicines and medical devices, as well as indicative market rates notified by the Directorate of Drugs Control Punjab, apply throughout the contract execution.
Bidders may obtain complete bidding documents free of cost from the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority website at www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk until the closing date. All submissions must be uploaded to the Punjab e-Procurement System by 04-08-2026 at 10:00 AM, with bid opening scheduled for 10:30 AM the same day.
