Description / Scope of Work
The Medical Superintendent of Trauma Center THQ Hospital Kallar Kahar invites sealed bids for the supply of general store and miscellaneous items for the financial year 2026-27. This is a framework contract procurement with an estimated cost of PKR 4.8 million, to be executed through Open Competitive Bidding under the Punjab Procurement Rules (PPRA 2014, as amended). The contract is for supplying various general store items required for hospital operations in Kallar Kahar, Punjab.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Punjab E-Procurement System and be experienced income tax, GST/PST filers or registered partnerships, proprietors, firms and companies. Bids must be submitted exclusively through the Punjab E-Procurement System by the closing date of 10 August 2026 at 11:30 AM. Bid security of PKR 48,000 (1% of estimated cost) is required in the form of a CDR, pay order, or demand draft from any scheduled bank of Pakistan. Both electronic submission on the portal and physical submission of bid documents with original bid security are mandatory.
Bidding documents and detailed specifications are available for download from the E-PADS and PPRA website until 10 August 2026 at 11:30 AM, or can be obtained from the office of the Medical Superintendent. Bids will be opened at 12:00 PM on the same day in the presence of bidders or their representatives at the hospital office. Successful bidders must deposit 2% performance guarantee in the form of a bank guarantee or CDR after tender acceptance. Evaluation will follow S&GAD guidelines, and taxes will be deducted from invoices as per applicable government rules.
