Description / Scope of Work
Municipal Committee Hafizabad invites e-bids from eligible, well-reputed and financially sound firms, contractors and companies for making arrangements for the celebration of Pakistan Independence Day 2026. The estimated cost of this project is Pakistani Rupees 98,25,000 (approximately 98.25 million) and will be executed in Hafizabad, Punjab under the Current Financial Year Budget 2026-2027. The procurement encompasses event management, coordination and logistics required to organize a comprehensive Independence Day celebration at municipal level, reflecting the significance of the national occasion.
Eligible bidders must be enlisted with relevant government departments, registered on the Punjab E-Procurement system, and hold valid registrations with Income Tax, Sales Tax, PRA and Professional Tax authorities as applicable. Contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category C6 or above. Bidders are required to submit a fresh affidavit confirming they have not been blacklisted by PPRA and are not currently involved in litigation. The bid security amount is set at Pakistani Rupees 491,250 (5 percent of the estimated cost) and must be paid through online banking before bid submission.
Bidding documents containing complete terms, conditions, requirements and specifications are available for download from the PPRA website. E-bids must be submitted by 10 August 2026 at 11:00 AM through the Punjab E-Procurement portal (http://ep.punjab.gov.pk). The tender will be opened on the same date at 12:00 PM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. All bidders must be registered on the Punjab E-Procurement system to be eligible for participation in this open competitive bidding process.
