This is a single-event procurement for Independence Day 2026 covering fireworks, illumination, catering (sweets and gifts distribution), and promotional materials across Multan. Total value Rs 2.99 million split across seven line items suggests opportunities for specialized sub-contractors in pyrotechnics, electrical/lighting, and event logistics. The 5 percent bid security and 5 percent performance guarantee are standard. Notable: all items are short-term rentals (3 days maximum), implying no inventory commitment post-event. Closing is August 10, 2026, leaving minimal lead time for sourcing and setup before August 13–14 celebration dates.
Who can bid: Bidders must be registered with Pakistani tax authorities (NTN/SECP as applicable). The notice specifies firms, sole proprietors, and companies are eligible provided they hold valid tax registration. Typically for such event services, bidders require valid business registration, GST compliance, and demonstrated capacity in relevant domain (pyrotechnics licenses for fireworks, electrical contractor licenses for lighting). Foreign companies may be considered if registered locally.
