For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT

Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.

Heavy Industries Taxila seeks spare parts suppliers for defence equipment rebuild/refurbishment under a two-month delivery timeline.

Scale appears medium to large given the defence sector context and rebuild operations scope. Notably, this is a government defence procurement with strict PPRA/MoD rules; bidders need prior government contract experience and blacklist clearance. The FOR basis and two-month window suggest established supply chains are essential. Recurring need likely given 'rebuild and refurbishment' language.

Who can bid: Bidders must hold valid NTN and Sales Tax Registration (where applicable). Eligible categories: manufacturers, authorized dealers, distributors, or established suppliers. Must demonstrate three years audit history, prior government contracts, and judicial non-blacklisting certificate. Typically, PEC registration not explicitly mandated for non-construction spares suppliers, but defence sector procurement may impose additional vetting.
