PSO seeks 800 LPG composite cylinders (10kg capacity) for supply to Korangi plant. This is a straightforward commodity procurement from OGRA-approved manufacturers. The specification is rigid and standards-heavy (ISO 11119-3, BS EN 14427, DOT SP 12706), requiring design approval before manufacturing—typical for pressure vessels. Suppliers must source all components from PSO-approved vendors and maintain full traceability (batch numbers, test certificates). Tight deadline (15 days to quotation) and the requirement for pre-manufacturing design submission suggest PSO has urgent capacity needs. One-off purchase, not a framework agreement.
Who can bid: Bidders must be manufacturers of LPG composite cylinders with OGRA approval or sourcing from OGRA-approved manufacturers. All materials and components (valves, safety caps, liners) must be procured from PSO-approved suppliers. Suppliers must obtain Material Test Certificates from accredited laboratories and provide TPAI certificates for safety components. Typically, SECP registration, valid NTN, and documented manufacturing or distribution capability are required.
