Framework Contract for Local Purchase of Medicines, Disposables and Surgical Items

DHQ Hospital Chiniot, a tertiary healthcare facility in Punjab, invites sealed bids from eligible suppliers for a framework contract covering day-to-day local purchase of medicines, dialysis items, and surgical or disposable items during the financial year 2026-27. The estimated contract value is rupees 40 million, with funding provided through Primary and Secondary Healthcare (PBM) and Zakat Fund allocations totaling rupees 5 million. This is a recurring annual procurement intended to ensure uninterrupted supply of critical pharmaceutical and medical consumables to support hospital operations across multiple departments.

Bidders must be registered on the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) as a mandatory prerequisite for participation. Bid security of two percent of the estimated cost, calculated at approximately rupees 800,000, must be submitted in the form of an original Crossed Demand Draft (CDR) to the office of the Medical Superintendent, DHQ Hospital Chiniot, by the deadline. The bidding shall be conducted through a Single Stage – Two Envelope procedure in accordance with rule 38(2) of the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014, as amended to date.
