For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
NICL seeks a one-year lift operation and maintenance contractor for its Karachi building. This is a recurring annual service contract for mechanical maintenance and repairs. The tight eight-day bidding window (published July 30, deadline August 17, 2026) suggests urgent need or a routine re-tendering cycle. Bidders must be EPADS-registered; lack of disclosed budget means competitive pricing will be critical. Service-based contracts of this type typically demand 24/7 emergency response capability and documented preventive maintenance schedules.
Who can bid: Bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0. The notice does not specify sectoral restrictions. For lift maintenance in Pakistan, vendors typically require relevant technical certifications, experience records, and proof of financial capability. NTN registration and compliance with OSHA or equivalent safety standards are typically expected.
