For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
NUST seeks 8 inverter ACs (1-ton units) for hostel installations—a straightforward appliance supply contract of modest scale.
The tight timeline (submission and opening same day at 1100/1130 hours) demands advance preparation. This appears one-off campus infrastructure, not recurring. Bidders should note the mandatory PKR 5,000 tender fee (non-refundable) and that NUST retains broad rejection rights under PPR 2004 Rule 33, typical of institutional buyers but worth flagging for cost planning.
Who can bid: Bidders must be PPRA-registered for e-procurement on e-PADS platform. Typically, suppliers require active NTN with FBR, SECP registration if incorporated, and demonstrated technical competency in AC supply/installation. Sole proprietorships and partnerships may participate if registered; no explicit PEC requirement stated since this is appliance supply, not construction.
