Description / Scope of Work
Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering & Management Sciences (BUITEMS), Quetta invites sealed bids from interested and well-reputed firms for civil and plumbing work in the Textile Wet Processing Lab and Geological Engineering Lab at BUITEMS Takatu Campus. The project is being procured under a single-stage, one-envelope bidding procedure. The scope includes civil construction and plumbing installation works at the university's Takatu Campus location in Quetta, Balochistan province. Bid documents are available from the Directorate of Planning & Development for a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1,000.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineer Council (PEC), listed on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), and registered with the Balochistan Revenue Authority (BRA). Bidders are required to submit a Deposit at Call (CDR) or pay order equivalent to two percent of the total bid price as refundable bid security in favour of the Director Planning & Development, BUITEMS. Bids without acceptable bid security will be rejected as non-responsive without right of appeal. The bid security may be forfeited if a bidder withdraws during the validity period, fails to accept price corrections, or if the successful bidder fails to sign the contract or execute the work as specified.
Bidding documents containing detailed terms, conditions, evaluation criteria, and submission procedures are available at the Directorate of Planning & Development, BUITEMS Airport Road, Quetta. Sealed bids must be submitted on or before 1:45 PM on 21 August 2026, with opening scheduled for 3:30 PM the same day in the presence of bidder representatives. All bid prices must be valid for a minimum of 90 days and quoted on F.O.R. basis in Pakistani Rupees. The work order will be awarded on a least-cost selection basis.
