Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Railways Quetta invites sealed bids for execution of two works valued at approximately Rs. 28.04 million and Rs. 0.94 million respectively. The primary work involves upgradation of Class-II unmanned lever Crossing No. 56 at KM 386/6-7 into a Class-I manned dual carriageway with level crossing 56/56-A between Quetta and Sheikhimanda stations on the Quetta-Chaman section, with a completion period of four months. The secondary work comprises preparation of estimate, drawing and RCC component of the structure including watch towers at Quetta, with a two-month completion period. Bids are invited through the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (E-PADS) Version 2.0 based on Pakistan Railways Composite Schedule of Rates 2016. Both tenders are issued from the Quetta division and represent significant railway infrastructure development in Balochistan.
Eligible bidders must hold fresh renewal of license CE-06 with Pakistan Engineering Council and possess specialization codes in CE-10 category. Firms must be registered and cleared from Sales and Income Tax Department and remain active on the Active Taxpayer List of Federal Board of Revenue. Bid security must be submitted as a Call Deposit Receipt or Pay Order in the name of DAO/PR Quetta, with amounts of Rs. 560,772 for the first tender and Rs. 18,755 for the second tender. Original bid security along with hard copies of bidding documents must be submitted to the office of Divisional Engineer-I, PR Quetta (Work Accounts Branch).
Bidding documents are available free of cost from http://pa.epads.gov.pk. All bids must be uploaded on E-PADS by 12.00 hours on 22nd August 2026. Bids will be opened on the same date at 12.30 hours in the office of Divisional Accounts Officer, PR Quetta in the presence of firm representatives. The Railway administration reserves the right to reject all bids at any time prior to acceptance in accordance with PPRA Rules.
