For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT

BUITEMS seeks civil and plumbing contractors for two laboratory renovations at Takatu Campus—a mid-scale institutional project combining structural work with MEP installation.
Single-stage bidding with 90-day price validity suggests straightforward scope. Two-year closure timeline is unusually extended, indicating potential procurement delay or phased planning. University projects typically involve compliance-heavy documentation and site coordination constraints; budget scale not disclosed but laboratory fit-outs usually moderate.
Who can bid: PEC registration mandatory (likely Category A or B for civil works). Applicants must be on FBR's Active Taxpayers List and registered with Balochistan Revenue Authority. Typically, NTN and SECP registration also required for corporate entities. No turnover or experience threshold stated but public sector procurements typically favor firms with prior institutional project delivery.
