Description / Scope of Work
Karachi Port Trust, the port authority operating Pakistan's primary maritime gateway in Sindh, invites bids for two separate procurement contracts under PPRA 2004 (amended) rules. The first tender (EPADS P-79102) covers procurement of monitoring and control alarm systems for installation on the vessels MT Shanawar-II and Sindhbad-II. The second tender (EPADS P-79096) is for supply of cable PVCI/PVCS, 95mm gauge, required by the electrical department. Both procurements are issued by the Procurement Department and advertised in Daily Dawn dated 06 August 2026, with complete scope of work and technical specifications available in the tender documents.
Bidding is conducted using the single-stage, one-envelope method and is open to registered bidders on the EPADS (Version 2.0) electronic procurement platform at www.epads.gov.pk. Eligible bidders must register on EPADS to access bid documents and submit proposals. Karachi Port Trust reserves the right to reject any or all bids prior to acceptance, with rejection reasons communicated in accordance with PPRA rules and procedures.

The last date and time for bid receipt is 27 August 2026 at 10:30 hours, with tender opening scheduled for the same day at 11:00 hours.
