The Deputy Director Food, Hyderabad Region, Government of Sindh invites bids for fumigation services of approximately 68,000 metric tons of wheat stocks stored at Government Godowns located across multiple districts of Hyderabad Region, including Hyderabad, Matiari, Tando Allahyar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Badin, Thatta, Dadu and Jamshoro. The contract period is nine months from the date of contract award, with bid security set at Rs. 1,200,000 (non-refundable for unsuccessful bidders). The tender is issued under Single Stage One Envelope Procedure via the E-PAK Acquisition & Disposal System (E-PADS) portal. Fumigation rate must be quoted per metric ton of wheat including jute or polypropylene bags on a gross weight basis, inclusive of all ancillary expenses, materials, labour, chemicals, pesticides, spraying chemicals, polyethylene sheets, equipment, personnel accommodation and transportation to specified locations. Successful bidders must pay all applicable federal and provincial taxes including income tax, sales tax and stamp duty at 0.35 percent of contract value at the time of payment.

Requires three years prior fumigation experience with Food Department or equivalent credible organization, valid Plant Protection Department registration, and minimum turnover of Rs. 15 million annually. Notable: comprehensive equipment and manpower documentation must accompany bid, and successful bidder cannot sublet work.
Who can bid: Bidders must have NTN and CNIC documentation, valid registration with Plant Protection Department (Government of Pakistan), three years fumigation experience (preferably with Food Department, Sindh or equivalent organization), minimum annual turnover of Rs. 15 million (bank statement required), and valid SST registration. Firm/company must not be blacklisted by any provincial or federal government department nor be a defaulter with Food Department, Government of Sindh. Affidavit on Rs. 100 non-judicial stamp required confirming no blacklisting and sole responsibility for contract completion.
