Description / Scope of Work
District Council Chakwal invites sealed bids for the construction of a culvert with other allied works at Village Maira Thar, Chak Tehsil Kallar Kahar in Chakwal District, Punjab. The project is estimated at 2.761 million rupees and will be executed between 1 July 2026 and 31 December 2026. Bidding will be conducted through the e-Procurement system (ePADS) following the Single Stage Single Envelope procedure under Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. The work scope includes culvert construction and associated infrastructure in the Chakwal region.
Eligible bidders must be registered on ePADS for the financial year 2026-27 and must submit a bid security of Rs 1,38,050 (5% of estimated cost) from any scheduled bank in Punjab in favour of District Council Chakwal. Bidders whose tendered rates fall 5% or more below the estimated cost are required to deposit additional performance security ranging from 5% to 10% (inclusive of initial bid security) within 15 days of award notice issuance. All bids must be itemised, complete, legible and properly signed and stamped; incomplete or ambiguous bids will be rejected. Fake or forged documents will result in disqualification and blacklisting.
Bidding documents are available free of charge from the e-Procurement portal at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk/ and the PPRA Punjab website. Sealed bids must be submitted electronically through the ePADS portal by 10:30 AM PST on 24 August 2026. Bids will be opened publicly at 11:00 AM PST on the same date at District Council Chakwal offices. Upon acceptance, the successful contractor must execute a formal agreement on government stamp paper within seven days to receive the work order.
