Technical requirements include robust construction, known coefficient of thermal expansion, complete drainage capability, calibrated temperature sensors, minimum 100mm neck internal diameter, and gauge glass of minimum 16mm internal diameter. The prover neck graduation shall not exceed 0.02 percent of total volume. All activities must achieve repeatability of ±0.05 percent unless restricted by OEM specifications, and meter error must fall within OEM-specified accuracy limits.
Quotations must be submitted by 25 August 2026 with detailed unit prices and total amounts in Pakistani rupees. PSO seeks a specialist contractor to calibrate 14 flow meters at Keamari Terminal using API MPMS-compliant proving methods.
This is a one-off service job covering on-site calibration, prover tank operation, temperature monitoring, and statistical acceptance testing. Key technical hurdle: prover tank must meet strict W&M certification and API dimensional standards; repeatability tolerance is tight (±0.05%). Contractor must demonstrate OEM compliance and possess ATEX Zone 1 certified decanting pumps. Work appears medium-scale; cost sensitive but non-framework.
Who can bid: Bidder must typically be registered with SECP or relevant authority and hold valid NTN/GST. No explicit PEC category mentioned; however, contractor should possess ISO certification for calibration services and OEM accreditation for flow meter proving. Prover tank must carry valid Weights & Measures certification. Local regulatory compliance with Pakistan's Weights & Measures Department is mandatory.
