Description / Scope of Work
District Council Lodhran invites sealed electronic bids for the installation of manhole safety mesh under a frame work contract through the E-Procurement portal. The project, valued at 14.34 million Pakistani rupees, aims to enhance safety infrastructure across the district. Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council, Income Tax, Sales Tax and Punjab Sales Tax authorities, and bids will be evaluated under a single-stage two-envelope procedure with technical bids assessed first and financial bids opened following successful technical evaluation on 31 August 2026.
All participating contractors must provide bid security equivalent to five percent of the estimated project cost in the form of CDR or pay order from a scheduled bank in Punjab, payable to the Chief Officer of District Council Lodhran. Bidders are required to comply with directions from the District Council, submit GPS-tagged photographs documenting work progress on a daily basis, and conduct quality control tests at their own expense. Contractors must also deposit additional performance security from the schedule bank equal to the lowest bidding percentage within fifteen days of receiving the notice of award.
Bidding documents are available immediately from the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority website and the E-Procurement portal at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk/ without any fee. Electronic bids must be submitted online by 27 August 2026 at 2:00 PM, with opening scheduled for 2:30 PM the same day at the Procurement Office in Kahror Pacca road, Muhammad Siddique Khan Kanju Hall, Lodhran.
