Description / Scope of Work
NIBGE Faisalabad invites sealed bids for the purchase of a large quantity of used scientific equipment, air conditioners, compressor gas cylinders, computers, electrical items, general non-consumable items, furniture, telephone sets, electrical and mechanical tools, iron scrap, rubber scrap and plastic scrap materials. The auction will be conducted on an as-is-where-is basis at 11:00 hours on 19 August 2026 in Faisalabad, Punjab. The total lot comprises 02 distinct lots of mixed equipment and materials available for inspection during working hours prior to bid submission. The Pr. Administrator NIBGE located at Jhang Road, Faisalabad will oversee the auction process and reserves the right to accept or reject bids at discretion.
Bidders are required to obtain tender documents by depositing Rs.1000 as a non-refundable tender fee in cash at the NIBGE office. Items can be inspected on any working day between 09:00 AM and 01:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday. Eligible bidders must present original CNIC for identity verification and obtain an entry token from the institute before participating. Successful bidders must deposit 1/4th of the total bid amount at the spot as earnest money deposit in the form of CDR or cash in favour of Head LAO NIBGE, with the remaining 3/4th due within specified timeframes subject to advance tax and statutory levies.
Bid documents can be obtained from the Pr. Administrator NIBGE, Jhang Road, Faisalabad (telephone 041-9201316-1320 Extension 3281). The highest bidder for the complete lot (02 lots combined) will be accepted. All successful bidders must complete payment and fulfil prescribed formalities, including 20% non-filer surcharge on gross sale price where applicable. Default in payment within the prescribed period will result in forfeiture of 25% of the deposited security amount. Competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without assigning reasons.
