Description / Scope of Work
THQ Hospital Haroonabad, located in District Bahawalnagar, Punjab, invites sealed bids for a framework agreement covering the local purchase of medicines, surgical disposable items, medical devices, general store items, laboratory items, stationery, printing materials, X-ray films and chemicals, medical gases, dental and surgical instruments, biomedical equipment, and transportation services for the financial year 2026-27. The tender comprises ten packages with an aggregate estimated cost of Rs. 28,500,000, ranging from Rs. 500,000 for medical gases to Rs. 10,000,000 for medicines and surgical items. The procurement is conducted under the Single Stage – Two Envelope open competitive bidding procedure as per Punjab Procurement Rules 2014.
Bidders must be GST and Income Tax registered, technically and financially sound firms, suppliers, or companies. For Package 1 (medicines and surgical disposables), firms must hold a valid Centralized Drugs Sale License (Pharmacy Form No. 9). Bidders may participate in one or more packages, each requiring a separate bid and bid security calculated at 2% of the estimated cost for that package. The original bid security must be submitted through Bank of Punjab in accordance with the latest Government of Punjab and PPRA instructions regarding financial instrument integration. Firms must provide product details including brand name, quality, and pack size in the financial bid, with samples required for evaluation.
Bidding documents are available free of charge from the Punjab e-Procurement System (e-PADS) portal at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk and the PPRA Punjab website at https://ppra.punjab.gov.pk. Bids must be submitted electronically through the e-PADS portal on or before 21 August 2026 at 10:00 AM, with technical bid opening scheduled for 11:00 AM the same day. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject all bids or proposals at any time prior to acceptance.
