Description / Scope of Work
Govt. Eye Cum General Hospital Gojra, District Toba Tek Singh, Punjab invites sealed bids for a framework contract for the financial year 2026-27 covering three separate packages: local purchase of medicines, surgical and disposable items valued at 20 million PKR; Zakat medicine and disposable items valued at 0.9 million PKR; and medicine for CM Special Initiative for Dialysis Program valued at 20 million PKR. The total estimated procurement value across all three packages is approximately 40.9 million PKR. This procurement is conducted under Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 as amended, through the electronic procurement portal (EP portal).
Eligible bidders must be experienced pharmacy businesses or chains of pharmacies holding a valid Retail drug sale license on Form 9, registered with relevant tax departments and authorities including NTN and other statutory bodies. Each package requires separate bid security of 2 percent of the estimated cost in the form of CDR, Bank Draft, Demand Draft, Pay Order or Banker's Cheque from a scheduled bank. Bids must be submitted online through the EP portal with original bid security documents reaching the office on or before the bid closing deadline. Incomplete, conditional bids or bids lacking the specified bid security will be rejected summarily.
Bidding documents containing detailed specifications and terms can be obtained from the office of the procurement officer at Govt. Eye Cum General Hospital Gojra during office hours, or downloaded from the PPRA website www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk and the EP portal. Online submission of bids closes on 22-08-2026 at 11:00 AM, with technical bid opening scheduled for the same day at 11:30 AM at the Medical Superintendent's office.
