For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
The hospital is registering vendors for recurrent day-to-day supply of medicines and surgical items, not a one-time tender.
Bidders must be licensed pharmacies within 10 km of the hospital with computerized systems and Rs.50,000 bid security. The registration is rolling rather than competitive pricing-based, suggesting successful vendors access to regular orders. Registration suspension occurs if bidders miss five consecutive daily bidding opportunities, indicating this suits vendors with reliable operational capacity and staff. This is medium-scale recurring procurement typical of hospital pharmacy operations.
Who can bid: Applicants must hold a valid Form 9 drug sales license, operate a pharmacy within 10 km of Lahore, employ a qualified pharmacist, have one year minimum experience, maintain computerized inventory systems, be active taxpayers, and provide Rs.50,000 each in bid security and performance guarantee. Affidavits from notary and Rs.100 stamp paper undertaking are mandatory. Physical pharmacy inspection precedes registration.
