Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Highway Department, Highway Division Attock, invites sealed tenders from registered engineering firms and contractors for two road restoration works under the PPRA E-Tendering System. Work 1 involves restoration of road cut for laying of 6-inch diameter by 1.50 kilometer operational phase pipeline from Proposed TBS Muhammad Ali Chowk to opposite PSO Pump in Jand, Islamabad Tehsil, District Attock, with an estimated cost of PKR 4.922 million and earnest money of PKR 0.246 million. Work 2 covers restoration of road cut for laying of Optical Fiber PTCL from PTCL Exchange to Takber Colony Chowk on Kamra Road, length 3.40 kilometers, in Tehsil and District Attock, estimated at PKR 5.383 million with earnest money of PKR 0.269 million. Both projects have a three-month completion period.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category and listed on the Punjab PPRA website at www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk. Bid security (earnest money) of 5% of the estimated cost must be submitted in the form of a CDR in favour of the Executive Engineer Highway Division Attock, uploaded online, and the original CDR must be presented half an hour before tender opening. The lowest evaluated bidder shall submit performance security of 10% of the bid amount within 15 days in the form of CDR, bank draft, cashier cheque, pay order, or bank guarantee, valid for three months beyond completion.
Bidders must quote item rates and totals as per PPRA Circular No. L&M (PPRA)10-1/2011/008595 dated 11.10.2024; percentage-based quotes will not be accepted. Bids must be submitted electronically on the PPRA website (http://eproc.punjab.gov.pk/View/Tender.aspx) before the deadline. Tender opening is scheduled for 17-08-2026 at 10:00 AM at the office of the Commissioner, where the successful bidder will be announced in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee. All contractor claims must be submitted electronically. Submission of fake documents or false information will result in disqualification and blacklisting.
