Description / Scope of Work
The National Highway Authority (NHA), Ministry of Communications, Government of Pakistan, invites electronic bids for balance works of periodic maintenance involving structural overlay at risk and cost of the defaulted contractor. The project is located on National Highway N-5 at Super Binasib Curve (SBC) between kilometers 920+000 and 929+000, with an estimated cost of Rs 138,494,000. This is a re-invitation notice following default of the original contractor, and bidding documents will be available from August 17, 2026 for download from the NHA website at www.ebidding.nha.gov.pk.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Income Tax Department, listed on the Federal Board of Revenue's Active Taxpayers List, and possess a valid PEC license for financial year 2026-27. The required PEC category is C-4 and above with specialization codes CE-01 and CE-10. Bidders are strongly advised to obtain EPADS (PPRA) registration at www.eprocure.gov.pk immediately, as manual bids in hard copy format will be eliminated in upcoming procurements. The procurement method is Single Stage – Two Envelope.
Bidding documents containing detailed terms, conditions, and instructions must be downloaded from www.ebidding.nha.gov.pk. Electronic bids must be submitted by August 28, 2026 at 1100 hours. Technical bids will be opened on the same day at 1130 hours. For updates and addenda, prospective bidders should regularly check the NHA website.
