This is a 55 Million Rupee framework contract for uniform and protective clothing supply through Punjab's e-procurement system.
The contract carries standard risk: 2.75 Million Rupee bid security requirement, 120-day bid validity, and structured two-envelope evaluation. Bidders must be tax-registered with relevant authorities. Key consideration: framework contracts typically run multi-year with volume unpredictability; suppliers should assess working capital implications and ensure manufacturing/supply chain readiness for incremental orders during the contract period.
Who can bid: Firms must be registered with relevant registration authorities and tax departments as specified in bidding documents. Typically, suppliers require active NTN registration, sales tax registration, and sector-specific certifications for uniform/protective clothing manufacture or distribution. Joint ventures and consortia are not permitted.
