Description / Scope of Work
Barani Agricultural Research Institute, Chakwal invites electronic bids for procurement of various stores under Grant 18-Agri. The tender comprises three items: fertilizer (estimated cost PKR 3,000,000), cost of store (PKR 1,200,000), and payment to others for service rendered (PKR 700,000), with a combined estimated value of PKR 4,900,000. This framework contract is to be executed at the Institute's location 04 km from Balkassar Interchange on the Talagang-Chakwal Road, serving agricultural research operations in Punjab province. The procurement is governed by Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 and conducted through the Government's e-Procurement system.
Bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue for income and sales tax, hold a Professional Tax Certificate, possess a Provincial Tax Authority registration certificate, and be listed on the Approved Tender List. A bid security of 3 percent of estimated cost is required for each item. Eligible contractors and firms must demonstrate financial and technical capacity to supply the specified stores and services within the stipulated timeframe.
Bidding documents are available on the Punjab e-Procurement portal at https://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk. Bids must be submitted online by Wednesday 01 September 2026 at 11:00 hours; late submissions will not be entertained. Bid opening will occur at 11:30 hours on the same date.
