Description / Scope of Work
Karachi Tools, Dies & Moulds Centre, a subsidiary of Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC) operating in the Korangi Industrial Area in Karachi, Sindh, invites electronic and sealed bids for the disposal of miscellaneous scrap on an as-is-where-is basis under tender reference 158/KTDMC/2026-27. The scrap items are currently located at KTDMC's facilities in Sector 38, Korangi Creek Industrial Park, adjacent to Pakistan Refinery Limited. This is a single-stage, one-envelope bidding procedure conducted in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules 2004 and open to all eligible bidders. Interested parties are invited to inspect the scrap items between 20th and 25th August 2026 during office hours from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
All bids must be accompanied by 5% bid security of the total bid value in the form of a pay order in favor of Karachi Tools, Dies & Moulds Centre. Bidders must be registered with EPADS and with the Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments, and must be on the Active Taxpayers List of the Federal Board of Revenue. The bidding documents are available for free download from www.ktdmc.com or may be purchased from KTDMC for PKR 1,000 (non-refundable). The scanned copy of bid security should be uploaded via EPADS, while the original must be received by the KTDMC Purchase Department before the submission deadline; failure to do so will result in bid rejection.
Electronic and manual bids must be submitted on or before 2nd September 2026 at 2:30 p.m. Bids will be opened on the same day at 3:00 p.m. through EPADS in public and in the presence of bidders' representatives.
