Description / Scope of Work
Kohat University of Science and Technology (KUST), located in Kohat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites sealed tenders for the procurement of computers equipped with Intel Core i7 processors, 14th generation, intended for the Institute of Computing. This is a single-stage, single-envelope procurement conducted through the E-PADS (Electronic Procurement and Auction System) platform. Bidders must be authorized distributors, dealers, or firms duly registered with the Income Tax, Sales Tax, and FBR departments. The procurement scope encompasses the supply of high-performance computing equipment to support educational and research activities at the university's computing institute.
Eligible suppliers must maintain current registration with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and relevant tax authorities. Tender documents are available from the Secretary of the University Purchase Committee (Procurement Cell) upon payment of Rs. 2,000 as a non-refundable tender form fee. Alternatively, detailed specifications may be downloaded from the KUST website (www.kust.edu.pk), though the tender form fee remains payable. Bidders are required to submit tenders along with 2% earnest money as bid security. Payment for tender forms may be made either directly to HBL Account No. 03430000100001 or via bank draft or HBL bank receipt.
Tenders must be uploaded on E-PADS with hard copies in sealed envelopes reaching the office of the Secretary UPC by September 09, 2026 (Wednesday) at 11:00 am. Tender opening will occur on the same day at 11:30 am in the Senate hall of KUST. The University reserves the right to reject any or all bids at any time, and upon request will communicate rejection grounds to bidders.
