Description / Scope of Work
Ghazi University, Dera Ghazi Khan, is conducting an open auction for the disposal of old, used items and scrap materials on an as-is-where-is basis. This is a public auction process inviting interested bidders and firms to participate in competitive bidding for lots of surplus and obsolete assets held by the university. The auction is being conducted by the University Auction Committee and represents an opportunity for businesses and individuals to acquire used equipment and materials at competitive prices. The auction notice has been assigned reference number GUDGK/AUC/2025-26/02 for identification and tracking purposes.
All prospective bidders must submit a completely filled auction form along with supporting documentation including a copy of their computerized National Identity Card (CNIC), Sales Tax Registration Certificate if available, NTN Certificate if available, and a refundable cash deposit receipt (CDR) equivalent to 2 percent of the lot value as bid security in the form of a demand draft. Bidders must be present with original identification at the auction venue and are not permitted to participate without the required bid security. Late arrivals will not be permitted to bid, and each bidder may bring a maximum of one additional person to the auction.
Detailed lists of auction items are available from the Convener of the University Auction Committee during office hours at the City Campus, Ghazi University, Dera Ghazi Khan. Materials and items may be inspected from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, or on working days. The successful bidder must pay 50 percent of the total bid amount as advance payment on the same working day through cash, pay order, or crossed cheque in favor of the Treasurer, Ghazi University, with the balance due within three working days. Items must be removed within three working days after full payment, with demurrage charges of Rs. 5,000 per day applied for delays beyond this period. All applicable government taxes, including withholding tax and GST, are the responsibility of the successful bidder and will be calculated above the auction value.
