Description / Scope of Work
The Vegetable Research Institute, Faisalabad, operating under the Office of the Principal Scientist, invites tenders for the provision of labour services under the ADP Project titled Transformation of Agriculture in Pothohar and District Khushab (Ginger Component). The scope includes supply of skilled and unskilled labour for media preparation, tissue culture of ginger plantlets, seed multiplication, field trials, washing of laboratory utensils, hardening of tissue culture plants, and all associated field operations. The estimated project cost is 3.5 million Pakistan rupees, with services required across Faisalabad, Pothohar, and District Khushab in Punjab province. The tender seeks 3 skilled persons per month for technical laboratory and tissue culture work, and 20 unskilled persons per month for general field and support operations.
Bidders must be registered for Income Tax, PST, and Sales Tax with established credentials in financial and managerial capabilities.
