Description / Scope of Work
Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro invites bids for major repair and maintenance work of its Sports Gymnasium facility. This is tender item number 6 in a multi-project procurement notice issued on 24 August 2026 under reference DD(Proc)/MUET/JAM/-87. The estimated contract value is Rs. 16.391 million with a project completion period of six months. The work encompasses comprehensive repair and maintenance activities to restore and upgrade the gymnasium building infrastructure located at the university campus in Jamshoro, Sindh province.
Bidders must demonstrate at least five years of proven experience delivering similar services in universities or large organizations. Eligible participants should hold active registration with the Sindh Revenue Board as tax-paying entities and must not appear on any blacklist maintained by procurement agencies. An affidavit confirming non-blacklist status is mandatory. Bidders are required to maintain a minimum average annual financial turnover of Rs. 17 million over the preceding five years, verified through bank statements and accompanied by an Annual Financial Turnover Certificate issued by the concerned bank. The bid security (earnest money) stands at 5 percent of the estimated cost, amounting to Rs. 0.8195 million, which must be submitted via call deposit, pay order, demand draft, or bank guarantee from a scheduled Pakistani bank.
Bid documents are available through the Sindh Public Procurement Regulatory Authority's EPADS portal (https://portalsindh.eprocure.gov.pk/) and the university website (https://www.muet.edu.pk/tender-notices) upon payment of a non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 5,000. Electronic bids must be submitted via EPADS by 15 September 2026 at 1:00 PM. Tender opening will occur on 15 September 2026 at 1:30 AM in the presence of bidder representatives.
