Description / Scope of Work
District Council Kasur invites sealed electronic bids for execution of ten construction and renovation works totalling approximately Rs 136 million across Kasur district in Punjab. The projects include renovation of Munir Shaheed Park and Round About Kamal Chishti Chowk, construction of a library at Steel Bagh, beautification of the Green Belt from Kashmir Chowk to Kachehri Chowk on Main Ferozepur Road, construction of a culvert at seven villages in Kasur, and provision of safety barbed wire fencing at multiple ponds across four tehsils including Kot Radha Kishan, Pattoki, Chunian and Kasur city. Work shall be executed according to availability of funds under Budget and Revenue Code Rules 2.82, and the department assumes no liability for delays or interruptions caused by fund shortage, material supply delays or labour constraints.
Bidders must be registered or renewed with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category and meet all qualification criteria under PPR 2024. Bid security of 5 percent of estimated cost must be deposited via Call Deposit Receipt through PSID online bank application on or before the closing date. If the lowest bid rate is equal to or less than 5 percent of estimated cost, the bidder shall deposit additional performance security as per Punjab Local Government Works Rules 2017. Bidding documents must be digitally signed and stamped by an authorised representative and submitted through the electronic system only; no physical submission or telephonic bids are accepted.
Bid documents in PDF format must be uploaded on the E-Procurement System by 05-09-2026 at 11:30 AM; proposals will be opened the same day at 1:30 PM on E-PADS. Tender documents are available on the Punjab E-Procurement portal at http://eproc.punjab.gov.pk/ViewTender.aspx and the PPRA website. Further information may be obtained from the District Council Kasur office. The evaluation shall follow single-stage, one-envelope open competitive bidding with award to the lowest bidder meeting specifications.
