For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
This is a single-stage construction tender for modest commercial infrastructure at a bus terminus in Mandi Bahauddin worth approximately Rs 38.3 million.
The project appears one-off rather than recurring. Notably, the tender mandates exclusive use of the Punjab E-Procurement System from July 2026, reflecting recent policy changes; bidders must be digitally compliant. Bid security is 5 percent with conditional tenders explicitly disallowed. The earnest money base is relatively low relative to estimated cost, suggesting reasonable risk threshold.
Who can bid: Typically, construction contracts in Pakistan require bidders to be registered with relevant authorities (SECP for companies, NTN for businesses), possess valid PEC Category registration appropriate to project scope, and maintain active tax compliance. The notice does not explicitly state category requirements but emphasizes PPRA Rules compliance and forbids forged documentation submission.
