Pakistan Ordnance Factories invites quotations for indigenous supplies under tender enquiry reference 0064/LP/SJL/55 dated 23 April 2026. The procurement is for materials and supplies with delivery required at POF's stores at Sanjwal in Punjab. Quotations must be submitted electronically through www.ebidding.pof.gov.pk before 30 minutes prior to the opening time on 10 September 2026 at 12:00 hours at the Bid Centre adjacent to Rabita Hall, POF Wah Cantt. The tender follows the Single Stage two-envelope method for open competitive bidding as per PPRA Rule 36(b), with technical and commercial evaluation conducted strictly according to PPRA rules and contracts awarded to the most advantageous bidder.
Bidders must submit bid security in the form of deposit at call receipt, pay order or banker cheque drawn in favour of GM PPC POF Sanjwal. Registered and indexed firms must provide 2% of quoted value up to maximum Rs. 0.5 million, registered unindexed firms 3% up to Rs. 0.75 million, and unregistered firms 5% up to Rs. 1.00 million. Government organizations and state-owned enterprises may request waiver of bid security up to Rs. 0.50 million. A non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 500 via crossed postal order or pay order must accompany the tender in favour of Director-Admin-POFs Wah Cantt. Offers must be accompanied by tender samples unless the bidder is an established firm with previous satisfactory supply history. All supplies are subject to inspection and acceptance by competent inspection authority at the purchaser's cost, with inspection facilities provided by suppliers. Taxes and duties must be shown separately with relevant registration and authority references.
Quotations must remain valid for at least 90 days from commercial tender opening date and should hold good for reduced or enhanced quantities without notice. Quotations should be based on F.O.R. station of dispatch basis inclusive of packing and forwarding charges, with stores booked under Military Credit Note provided by purchaser. Free delivery is required at POF's stores at Sanjwal with octroi duty payable by supplier. Suppliers must furnish certificates of professional tax clearance from Excise and Taxation Department and provide necessary information regarding hazardous effects on environment. Conditional or alternative offers are likely to be ignored. Successful bidders must provide performance bond not exceeding 10% of contract value as deposit at call receipt or unconditional bank guarantee in favour of C.M.A. (POF) Wah Cantt within specified timeframe.
