Description / Scope of Work
The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), Islamabad invites sealed bids and proposals from reputed contractors, suppliers, firms and workshops for pre-qualification to provide repair and maintenance services during the financial year 2026-2027. The scope encompasses four categories of work: repair and maintenance of vehicles and motorcycles of different makes and models; repair and maintenance of all types of hardware and IT equipment; repair and maintenance of plant and machinery items; and repair and maintenance of furniture and fixtures. Bidders must be registered with Sales Tax and Income Tax departments and maintain their own workshops, stocks, manpower and technical expertise in Islamabad or Rawalpindi.
Eligible bidders must hold valid Income Tax Registration Number (active with FBR) and GST/PST Registration Number, both mandatory compliance requirements. Bid security of 5 percent of estimated cost must be submitted in original instrument form (cheques not accepted) in favor of the Deputy Director (General), SIFC, before the closing time. Bidders must provide affidavit on stamp paper of at least Rs. 100 value confirming non-blacklisting of the workshop or firm. Sound financial position must be demonstrated through one year's bank statement covering the period from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026. Firms should have complete setup including garage facilities, spare parts availability and qualified technical experts.
Tender documents are available in hard copy from the Special Investment Facilitation Council at Prime Minister's Office. Sealed bids must be submitted by 1100 hours on 7 September 2026 at the SIFC office, with bid opening scheduled for 1130 hours on the same day at Prime Minister's Office, 2nd Floor, Room 234-B in the presence of bidders. Interested parties must submit separate bids for each category of repair and maintenance work according to their respective competencies and eligibility.
