Description / Scope of Work
GE Maint / Project NDU Islamabad invites pre-qualification applications from contractors and firms in the Federal region for 48 contracts related to construction, specific repairs, minor maintenance and provision of miscellaneous facilities at NDU Complex and DCI in Islamabad, valued at Rs. 132.000 million. The scope encompasses ongoing maintenance, repair and infrastructure works across multiple buildings within the NDU Complex located in Sector E-9. Contractors must be entitled with MES in categories A, B, C, D or E and submit applications with complete credentials by 01 September 2026. Applications will be scrutinized and tender documents issued only to firms demonstrating sufficient experience in relevant construction and maintenance work and meeting special conditions for the job and area. Tender will be issued on 01 September 2026, with submission deadline at 1130 hours on 08 September 2026 and opening at 1200 hours the same day.
Eligible contractors must be registered with MES or furnish proof of being on the appropriate list of the Department concerned. Applicants not on the MES approved list or those suspended due to non-deposit of enhanced amount must deposit 2 percent of contract cost as earnest money, separately, in the form of FDR or Deposit at Call duly pledged in the name of GE Maint / Proj NDU Islamabad. Firms must provide statement of financial standing with necessary bank certificate, details of employed staff, details of tools and plants, and documentation of previous experience covering works executed in the last two years and ongoing projects, duly attested by a Class-I Gazetted Officer. All applicants must submit the prescribed proforma with performance reports from the relevant Divisional Engineer or XEN.
Tender documents are available from the office of the concerned executive on any working day. Pre-qualification applications must be submitted to GE Maint / Proj NDU Islamabad by 01 September 2026. Tender documents will be issued to pre-qualified firms on 01 September 2026. Sealed tender bids must be received by the accepting officer by 1130 hours on 08 September 2026 and will be opened at 1200 hours on the same date.
