This tender seeks miscellaneous aviation spares for a military aviation base, with approximately 30 line items required for annual operations.
Delivery timelines are standard (30 days local, 90 days imported). Key barriers to entry include mandatory Military Intelligence Directorate security clearance and CASD registration; firms must also maintain 5% bid security and pay Rs 3,000 non-refundable fee. The notice emphasizes avoiding exorbitant pricing and requires detailed specifications, manufacturer authorizations, and warranty provisions. Orders will be placed in batches rather than full quantities, suggesting recurring smaller purchases throughout the financial year.
Who can bid: Bidders must possess NTN certificates and be registered with Central Aviation Spares Depot or hold valid Military Intelligence Directorate security clearance. Firms with pending deliveries from the previous financial year are ineligible. Typically, aviation spares suppliers must also demonstrate adequate financial capability and provide undertakings of non-blacklisting by government or military organizations.
