Description / Scope of Work
The Deputy Commissioner and Chairman District Disaster Management Authority, Khanewal invites electronic bids for the procurement of standardized relief goods and equipment for flood and monsoon season 2026 during the financial year 2026-27 in District Khanewal. The procurement encompasses food hamper in ration bags, cooked food at ten kilograms per daig material basis, miscellaneous items, drinking water, provision of transportation, flour atta, animal fodder, catering services, and charpai beddings. The total estimated cost of procurement is PKR 255,660,000 with a bid security requirement of 2% of the estimated cost. Government-owned enterprises may participate only if they are legally and financially autonomous, operate under commercial law, and are not dependent agencies. Bidders must not be under blacklisting declaration by any government department or the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority. Bid security of 2% of the estimated cost must be provided in the form of CDR, bank guarantee, demand draft, or pay order from a scheduled bank of Pakistan.
Bidders must submit all bid documents through the e-Procurement System (eP) with original bids in sealed envelopes delivered to the Deputy Commissioner's Office in Khanewal by 2:00 PM on 07 September 2026. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders' representatives at 3:00 PM on the same date. The successful bidder must deposit a performance guarantee at 3% of the contract amount before supply order issuance. Bidding will follow a single-stage one envelope procedure according to Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 as amended.
