Description / Scope of Work
The Sindh Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases invites bids for the procurement of house keeping and general items under tender reference SICVD/TN/SC/No.04/2026-27. This is a single stage, one envelope procurement process conducted in accordance with Rule 46(1) of the Sindh Public Procurement Rules, 2010 as amended. The procurement covers general supplies and housekeeping materials required for institutional operations in Sindh. Bidding documents are available for purchase and submission from 28 August 2026 until 16 September 2026 at 11:30 A.M., with bid opening scheduled for 16 September 2026 at 12:00 P.M.
Eligible bidders must be registered on the EPAD (electronic procurement portal) operated by SPPRA and must meet the eligibility criteria stipulated in the Sindh Public Procurement Rules, 2010. Bidders shall not be associated with consulting firms engaged to prepare specifications for this procurement. All goods must originate from eligible source countries as defined in the procurement rules. Suppliers must guarantee that items supplied are new and unused, with full responsibility for wrong shipments or expired stock replacement. Government-owned enterprises may participate only if legally and financially autonomous and operating under commercial law.
Bidding documents must be submitted electronically on EPAD only; no physical submissions are accepted. All bidders are required to obtain registration on EPADS SPPRA before submission. Bid security and performance security requirements apply as per the contract conditions. The procurement follows standard conditions regarding inspections, tests, delivery schedules, warranty provisions, and dispute resolution mechanisms.
