Central Ordnance Depot Rawalpindi invites sealed bids for the procurement of general store items for the financial year 2026-27 under tender reference 11/Normal/2026-27. The procurement covers multiple categories of items including belts, nylon cloth, dry chemical powder for fire extinguishers in various capacities (2kg, 6kg, and 35kg DCP units), foam liquid for fire extinguishing, polyester yarn, and welding electrodes and rods of different specifications and diameters. The procurement is planned within the current financial year either in full or in part, with quantities subject to amendment or decrease at the time of order placement. Eligibility is restricted to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), authorized agents of OEMs, authorized distributors, and registered suppliers who hold current registration with Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments, maintain active status on the Federal Board of Revenue's Active Taxpayer List (ATL), and are registered with the Directorate General Defense Purchase (DGDP), Directorate General Procurement-Army (DGP-A), or any Ordnance Depot of Pakistan Army, as well as Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). Bidders must deposit bid security equal to 5% of the estimated bid value within five working days of intimation from Central Ordnance Depot Rawalpindi. All bidders are bound by the Official Secrets Act to maintain confidentiality of bids and procurement details.
Bid documents must be collected from the Local Purchase Office, Central Ordnance Depot Rawalpindi, Fort Road, during working hours (0830 to 1530 hrs), and collection of specifications and relevant documents is mandatory for participation. Sealed bids comprising separate technical proposal, financial proposal, and vendor qualification documents envelopes must be delivered to Central Ordnance Depot Rawalpindi, Fort Road, Rawalpindi Cantonment, before 1030 hours on 14 September 2026. Bid opening will occur at 1100 hours on the same date in the Conference Room with bidder representatives in attendance.
