Description / Scope of Work
Government Institute for Slow Learners Nankana Sahib invites electronic bids for the procurement of uniform items for special students covering both winter and summer seasons for financial year 2026-27. The tender is floated under PPRA Rules 2014 (amended to date) and is open to Federal Board of Revenue Income Tax and Sales Tax registered firms. The total estimated cost of procurement is PKR 1,400,000 (1.4 Million), divided into two lots: Lot No. 01 for winter uniform kits estimated at PKR 700,000 and Lot No. 02 for summer uniform kits also estimated at PKR 700,000. The procurement is being conducted in Nankana Sahib district, Punjab province.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue for both Income Tax and Sales Tax purposes. Bidders are required to submit bid security at the rate of 2 percent of the estimated cost of procurement, totalling PKR 28,000 (twenty eight thousand), comprising PKR 14,000 for each lot. The original hard copy of the bid security in the form of a Crossed Demand Draft (CDR) must be submitted in favour of the Headmistress, Government Institute for Slow Learners Nankana Sahib, before the e-bid submission closing time; failure to do so will result in rejection of the bid. Successful bidders will be required to deposit performance guarantee at 8 percent of the contract amount and sign a formal contract agreement before the issuance of the supply order.
Bidding documents and tender forms containing detailed terms and conditions are available free of cost on the e-Procurement portal https://punjab.ep.gov.pk/ and the PPRA website https://ppra.punjab.gov.pk/. E-bids must be submitted through the e-Procurement portal by 11th September 2026 at 10:00 AM, and will be opened on the same date at 10:30 AM. All rates quoted must be in Pakistani Rupees and inclusive of all applicable taxes, with taxes to be deducted as per government rules. The e-bid validity period is six months from the publication of the bid evaluation report. Bidders should note that the competent authority reserves the right to reject all bids or proposals according to the evaluation criteria at any time prior to bid acceptance.
